Materials & Finish Guide
Natural variation is part of the visual character of decorative lighting, but exact composition and finish must be confirmed for the selected product.
Alabaster
Alabaster is valued for its soft translucency and visible veining. Color, opacity, pattern and glow can vary from one piece to another. Product imagery should be treated as representative, not as a guarantee of an identical stone pattern.
- Expect tonal and veining variation
- Use a dry, soft cloth for routine care
- Confirm the exact product specification before ordering
Brass and metal finishes
A metal finish frames the silhouette and can shift from warm and reflective to dark and architectural. Finish names alone do not establish composition, coating method or aging behavior; those details require product-specific confirmation.
Glass
Clear, textured, frosted and colored glass distribute light differently. Small bubbles, ripples or hand-finished variation may be inherent to some processes, but only product-specific information should define what is expected.
Crystal
Crystal elements can add refraction and movement. Grade, cut, mounting method and replacement-part availability must be confirmed for the exact fixture.
Finish and patina
Lighting appearance changes with room color, daylight and lamp temperature. Compare close-up details and room views, and request a finish sample only when availability has been confirmed.
Natural material variation
Natural variation is not automatically a defect. Compare the received product with its description and contact us if you have a concern about the stone, finish or condition.
Lighting effect
Shade thickness, diffuser construction, lamp type and color temperature all influence the final effect. Request the product-specific electrical and lighting information before planning an installation.
Care guidance
- Switch off power and allow the fixture to cool before cleaning
- Use a dry or lightly damp soft cloth unless product guidance says otherwise
- Avoid abrasive cleaners and unsupported chemical treatments
- Arrange professional help for hard-to-reach or heavy fixtures
Custom directions
A project request may describe scale, suspension length, finish direction and quantity. Availability, engineering, price, timeline and final-sale terms require written confirmation.
Common questions
Will stone match the photo exactly?
Natural color, veining and translucency vary. Ask about the selected product if a close material match is important to your room.
Can I use metal polish?
Only if it is suitable for the exact finish. Abrasive or chemical products can damage coatings and patinas.
Can I request a material sample?
Contact us with the product and material; availability must be checked before a sample can be arranged.
